FULL MOONS...

The day today was just WRONG. The steak filling the shop assistant made yesterday was under-stewed - so we had to throw it out ($100) and make another batch... The first TWO grocery stores were out of macadamia nuts. The deli where I get ham and bacon was closed early for no reason. Justice had an incident. It was a zillion degrees and I had to cook the new batch of steak filling. The butcher rushed to fill my order, and the steak just wasn't up to the usual standard, but by the time that was clear the onions were on and I was committed to cooking it. It stormed at the end of the day - right when it was time take out rubbish and other stuck in the rain jobs...

So, at the very end of the night we tried for redemption. We went for a Christmas lights drive... Lovely lights, but our regular, always go see it, favourite house - knocked out by the storm. We always save it for last, so it meant we ended on a low...

Very sad. But we got home, and I realised - it was a full moon!
