When we finally got home tonight we found that our regular green tree frog (Maximus) was waiting for us ON our house! And... in his regular spot in our tree was a new, smaller girlie looking frog!
She doesn't have a name yet... but I hope she hangs around!
Since we were outside looking at these two, we decided to go ahead and check on our tadpoles as well (sometimes the rain raises the water level too high)... So, we took off the cover, fed them, and counted them (they're getting BIG!) and all were accounted for... it was a bit dark to see them well, so imagine our surprise when one swam to the side, climbed up and proceeded to HOP OUT!!! OUR FIRST FROG!!! SUCCESS! Also, the tiny thing was QUICK, so I only have this blurry picture before it hid itself away...
WE DID IT! AND we saw the first frog hop out... HOW COOL!
