My favourite radio station had a bit this morning about April Fool's Day. One of the hosts got up at 3AM, ransacked his living room, hid his car around the corner, and moved the computer and other electronics (of course, the plasma was heavy and installed, so he just disconnected the cables to give the right impression). He then woke up his wife to tell her they had been burglarised... and she just cuddled more deeply into the bed, reminded him they were insured and tried to fall back asleep. The poor guy was so desperately trying to get some huge reaction (either because he was miked for the show or just because he had put so much effort in...) but no dice...
In the past I have had a few pranks blow up on me. Sure, there were the priceless successes - sewing the arms and legs of all of Barnyard's uniforms closed right before inspection, and then "accidentally" spilling the coffee on him so he had to (try to) change... Or convincing Deanna that Boone was in a prank war with her and was probably coming to get her... we had to sleep with desk drawers open (and blocking the door). The best part of that was ransacking his room with her (mountains of star confetti in his dress uniform pockets!)... Actually, I did heaps of devious boat pranks -- and not all for April Fool's...
But this year I am taking it off... However, I hope you have some great April 1st stories!
